Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you to all the families who joined us for our Meet the Teacher evening. It is always exciting to see our learning spaces come to life and to share with families the environments where their children will learn, grow, and thrive throughout the year.
During the evening, teachers reviewed classroom routines and expectations, communication methods, and daily schedules. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with families and look forward to a wonderful year of learning together at MVS.
Staffing Update
Our CCT teacher Jody Mckellar will be going on leave, and we will be hiring for this position. We would like to sincerely thank Ms. M for her time at MVS. It has been wonderful to start the school year strong with her support, and we are grateful for the contributions she has made to our students and staff.

September 25 – Non-instruction day (no school for students)
September 30 – National Day of Truth and Reconciliation (no school) & Orange Shirt Day
Terry Fox Run
Mount View School is proud to take part in this year's Terry Fox's "Finish it" Run. Our run this year will take place on Thursday, September 24 from approximately 9:15-10:15. This year we will be running in our school field. Parents or family members are welcome to join us for the run.
We want to continue the legacy of supporting the run and honour the values Terry Fox has instilled in so many. Please support the students in reaching their running goals by ensuring they have their running shoes, water bottles and a healthy snack packed for that day.
