Mount View Believes in You

At Mount View School, we know that the greatest strength of our community is not found in any one person, but in how we believe in one another. Every day, students, staff, and families encourage each other to take risks, overcome challenges, and celebrate successes both big and small.

When we believe in each other, we create a place where everyone feels valued, capable, and connected. A kind word, a helping hand, or a moment of encouragement can make all the difference. Together, we inspire confidence, build belonging, and help one another grow.

You are the encouragement that lifts someone up. You are the kindness that helps others feel they belong. You are the courage that inspires someone to keep trying. When we believe in each other, there is no limit to what we can achieve together.

Thank you for making Mount View a community where everyone is seen, supported, and empowered to succeed. Together, we are stronger because we believe in one another.

November is Almost Here
As November arrives, we know the weather can change quickly. We encourage all students to come dressed warmly and ready for outdoor learning and play each day. Fresh air, movement, and time outside are an important part of student well-being, and we value providing outdoor experiences whenever possible, even on colder days. A warm coat, hat, mittens, and appropriate footwear help students stay comfortable and make the most of their time outdoors.

Important upcoming dates in November:

November 11, 12, 13 – No School (Fall Break)
November 18 – Council Meeting (6:30 in Learning Commons)
November 26 – Student Learning Conferences (4-8pm)
November 27 – NO SCHOOL (Student Learning Conferences (8:30-12:30)

Thank you to our amazing School Council and Home & School Association.

The School Council ensures that parent voices are heard in decision-making and promotes collaboration to improve both the school environment and student learning outcomes.

Parent societies (Mount View Home and School Association-MVHSA) are formed for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council.

Next meeting is November 18th @ 6:30 pm in the Learning Commons. This meeting includes HSA & AGM.

November 26th Layers of Literacy parent night
