Dear Mount View Families,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come and chat with your student’s teacher. We always love having these conversations as they offer us the chance to tell you just how wonderful these children are.

Winter has arrived! Please send your child with appropriate outdoor clothing: snow pants, snow boots, hat, gloves/mitts, warm jacket.  The students go outside for morning recess and lunch recess and only stay inside if the temperature is below –20C with windchill.

WRITE THEIR NAME ON THE TAG – things get easily mixed up in the hallway.

Also please have indoor shoes for your child and that this is a pair that stays at school. It is neither safe, nor comfortable for students to wear their heavy boots or socks only the whole day school.

We have a limited amount of “loaner” indoor shoes and outdoor clothing available for emergencies. If your child brings one of these home, please return it to the school so we can keep helping our students.

If you have extra warm mittens that you are no longer using we are always in need of extras at the office.

Winter Concert ticket update

All the seats for the evening performance have been reserved. Any forms returned next week can only receive afternoon tickets. This is due to the gym safety capacity, thank you for your understanding.
