Dear Parents and Guardians,

We had the Little Red Reading House visit our school today with their reading van for some of our classes. Students truly enjoyed having a story read to them, outside in the grass and sunshine and then receiving a book to take home. This was such an incredible opportunity, and we are grateful.

With the end of the school year quickly approaching, the admin team would like to remind you that if you do not have police clearance and want to volunteer for activity day, you need to apply for clearance as soon as possible. The process to receive your approved clearance can take up to 3 weeks.

Step Up. Be the Voice Our School Needs.

Our school community needs leadership. The role of School Council Chair isn’t just a title — it’s a chance to make a real, lasting impact.

When no one steps up, momentum is lost. Voices go unheard. Opportunities for improvement slip away. When we assume “someone else will do it,” we risk letting our school’s potential fade into silence.

Don’t wait for someone else. Be the one who makes a difference.

By stepping into this role, you’ll help guide priorities, support initiatives that strengthen learning and wellbeing, and be a crucial link between parents, educators, and school leadership.

You don’t need to be an expert — you just need to care. If you’re someone who values education, and wants to see our school thrive, you’re exactly who we need.

It’s a small commitment (~1hr/week) and an opportunity to lead with purpose, to connect with others, and to help build a school community we can all be proud of.

Your voice matters. Your leadership matters.

Be the one who steps up.
