Message from School Administration 

Dear Parents and Guardians,  

We had another wonderful week at Mount View School! We are so proud to see students getting back into the groove of school routines and safe playground behaviour. Our fields are quite slippery, and we have been closely monitoring students playing in that area. For this reason, we have made the decision to put a hold on soccer for now.  

Please ensure that students come to school each day with weather appropriate clothing. We go outside twice each day and students need hats, mitts, jackets, snowpants and snow boots.

January 27 – Report Cards available on MyCBE/Powerschool 
January 31 – Non-Instruction Day 

February 13 & 14 – Teacher's Convention, no school for students 
February 17 – Family Day, no school for students 
February 26 – Fun Lunch (orders are due 5 days before the event on healthyhunger.ca) 

February 28 – Non-Instruction Day 

Physical Education 

 Thanks to parent council for supporting curling this year. Students had fun and learned the rules of this target game in floor curling. If you would like to try curling on the ice as a family the city of Calgary has croki curl at North Glenmore Park and Bowness Park. Message from School Council: 

The School Council is looking for a Vice Chair and Key Communicator volunteer.  Minimal time investment required. Reach out to mountviewschoolcouncil@gmail.com if you are interested in helping out.
