Dear Parents and Guardians,
We had many blue days this week and were excited to get out into the snowy sunshine nearing the end of the week!
Please ensure that students come to school each day dressed in weather-appropriate clothing. We go outside twice each day, and students will need hats, mittens, jackets, snow pants, and snow boots.
Valentine’s Day (February 12th @ MVS)
Students are welcome to bring Valentine’s for their classmates and we ask that they bring them for everyone in the class. Please do not include snacks and treats. Ask your student what the class plan is for Valentine distribution.
Important upcoming dates:
February 13 & 14 – Teacher's Convention, no school for students
February 17 – Family Day, no school for students
February 26 – Fun Lunch (orders are due 5 days before the event)
February 28 – Non-Instruction Day, no school for students
March 20 & 21 – Student Led Conferences (link will open for booking closer to the date)
March 22-30- Spring Break, no school for students
March 31- Classes resume - students are back

April 22 to May 1 – Sound Kreations Residency *** Funded by our generous School Council

Internet Safety - Parent Info Seminar
Childsafe Canada will be coming to give a one-hour presentation on Internet Safety for kids. This presentation is sponsored by the School Council and is open to all parents/guardians/caregivers & teachers. Please note that the content is intended for adults, so children won’t be able to attend. This is an IN PERSON event only.
Date & Time: March 4, 2025 6:45-8pm
Location: Mount View School - Learning Commons
Doors will open at 6:45pm. Come grab a snack and mingle with other parents before the presentation starts at 7pm.
