SOGO
SOGO from Foothills Orienteering has started at Mount View today. SOGO will be at Mount View for three Fridays with all grades - kindergarten to grade 6. SOGO provides students and athletes a fun and engaging adventure running program: teaching students skills of navigation, endurance & agility. Please make sure your student has proper outdoor running shoes every day for running, playing, and Physical Education.
PAT Schedule:
Grade 6 students will be writing Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT) in the coming weeks. Our first PAT is on Monday. Please see the schedule below:

School and class photos
Class group photos and the yearly whole school photo will be taken on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Each student will receive a complimentary class group photo.
If you would also like the whole school photo, you will have the option of ordering one – we are confirming more details on the order format and will let you know as soon as we can.
Activity Day 2026!
JUNE 11th 1:30-3PM
Mark your calendar for Activity Day. We will need lots of volunteers for this day to set up and run stations for the students. Please e-mail our PE teacher Hanna Burger hmburger@cbe.ab.ca if you can volunteer!
Swimming Lessons at Renfrew Pool
June 15-19th (mornings) for Grades 1 to 6.
Students will be going swimming at Renfrew Pool for the "Swim to Survive" program. There will be 40min lessons in small groups of students by certified instructors. Students will be walking to and from the pool. We will be looking for volunteers to walk students to and from the pool and help supervise. Please mark your calendars. More information coming soon.
