Dear Parents and Guardians,
It was wonderful to meet many of the new students who will be joining Mount View School next year. As we head into the final three weeks, our schedule is full with PATs, Activity Day, our swimming residency, and many other exciting year-end activities.
We will be placing our lost and found items outside at the end of each day to help reduce the large number of unclaimed items. Our collection is quite full, and we would love to see these belongings returned to their rightful owners.
Please take a moment to visit the compound and check for any missing items.

Food Sharing at School
We appreciate the kindness and generosity of families who wish to provide treats or snacks to share with a class. At this time, we are discouraging food being brought to school for sharing.
This decision is guided by our commitment to student safety and well-being. Many students have allergies, dietary restrictions, or other considerations, and shared food can create unintended risks.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.

Activity Day 2026!
JUNE 11th 1:30-3PM
Mark your calendar for Activity Day. We will need lots of volunteers for this day to set up and run stations for the students. Please e-mail our PE teacher Hanna Burger hmburger@cbe.ab.ca if you can volunteer!
Swimming Lessons at Renfrew Pool
June 15-19th (mornings) for Grades 1 to 6.
Students will be going swimming at Renfrew Pool for the "Swim to Survive" program. There will be 40min lessons in small groups of students by certified instructors. Students will be walking to and from the pool. We will be looking for volunteers to walk students to and from the pool and help supervise. Please mark your calendars. Forms went home and need to be returned by Friday June 5th.
