Dear Parents and Guardians,

This week’s windy weather has been hard to miss, and it offers a gentle reminder of how nature signals change. Wind often marks a transition—between seasons, weather patterns, or new beginnings. We can use this as an opportunity to talk with children about noticing changes around us and how change can bring growth and new possibilities. Thank you for helping children stay safe, prepared, and curious during these blustery days.

Professional Learning Day for Mount View Staff

Our staff learning today focused on the Blackfoot value of kakyosin - observing closely. We spent time reflecting on our learning and sharing our resources for our whole school day of learning at Confederation Park. Teachers intentionally embedded Indigenous ways of being, belonging, doing, and knowing into tasks for that day.
